Ingredients
  

  • 8 sticks mozzarella string cheese frozen
  • 1 cup almond flour super-fine
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese finely grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 spritz avocado oil cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Freeze mozzarella sticks for 1 hour. Prep 3 bowls: almond flour/spices, egg wash, and parmesan mix.
  • Dredge sticks in flour, then egg, then parmesan.
  • Repeat egg and parmesan for a double coat.
  • Freeze coated sticks for another hour.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray sticks with oil.
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes until golden. Serve hot.

Notes

Wait until fully cooled to avoid a gummy texture. Toasts perfectly.
