Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast sliced into thin strips
  • 3 cups bell peppers mixed colors, sliced
  • 1/2 medium red onion sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped

Instructions
 

  • Toss chicken with 1 tbsp oil, lime juice, and spices. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat remaining oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat.
  • Sear chicken for 5-6 minutes total until golden and removed.
  • Sauté peppers and onions in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes until charred.
  • Return chicken to the pan and toss to combine.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add sliced jalapeños. Serve with full-fat sour cream and guacamole to hit your fat macros.
