Instructions
In a 12oz mug, whisk dry ingredients (almond flour, cocoa, sweetener, baking powder, salt).
Add the egg, heavy cream, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
Stir in sugar-free chocolate chips if using.
Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds until the top is set.
Let the cake rest for 2 minutes before eating.
Serve with whipped cream or enjoy straight from the mug.
Notes
Resting for 2 minutes prevents a gummy texture. For a lava cake effect, microwave for only 60 seconds.
